What is art? How do you define something that can be so many things and also just one thing? Our eyes are drawn instinctively to beautiful objects. We are naturally drawn to light. We seek these things because they bring us a sense of joy, pleasure and calmness. It is with this underlying philosophy that we at Bendee set out on our journey. Much like our designs, it is a winding path that leads us from darkness to light. A journey where we are caressed in light. Subtle. But it doesn’t stop with our visual sense but rather extends to the tactile feel of smooth surfaces and pleasing angles. It is easy to overlook small details at first glance, however, part of the journey is discovering these details which become more apparent the more time you spend basking in its warmth.A beautiful pattern of grain made apparent as the light is turned on. A shadow cast over the edge creating contrast. It is said that a good book has just the right amount of words that are placed in just the right places. No more. No less. We’d like to think the careful attention we have paid to such details as grain, light and shadow are there in just the right amount and just the right places to stimulate your senses. To make your journey that much more enjoyable.A journey is better enjoyed with good company.
